WTF? “Not one of us” — except she’s bisexual. She’s a member of the community and has every right to stand up for what she believes in. And this is fucking fantastic of her considering her fame and power, to urge thousands of other people (if not more) to stand up as well.
“You’re a straight white woman, you don’t know shit about getting bullied” — oh, come on. As if straight white women don’t get bullied? And Gaga has stated that she is NOT straight and that she HAS been bullied, for God’s sake. Physically and emotionally.
Gaga’s songs have inspired me to be proud of my sexuality and of who I am. When my family practically disowned me for being queer, her songs kept me going. So fuck this fellow, the bullshit piling from his mouth, and everyone mindlessly agreeing with him. Congrats on erasing one woman’s sexuality and her struggles.
